What the NRA course covers
The NRA rules for safe gun handling, rifle parts and operation, ammunition, the fundamentals of shooting, range rules, and shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions. It finishes with cleaning and where to take your training next.
No prerequisite
Unlike the personal protection courses, this one does not require anything before it. It is designed for anyone regardless of previous shooting experience.
You do not need to own a rifle
We supply rifles for the course, or you are welcome to bring your own to the range. The same goes for ammunition: bring yours, or rent a rifle from us and the ammunition is included in the rental.
